Touch & Collect for visitors
Smart Badge Technology
What is a smart badge?
In summary: a smart badge is an intelligent visitor badge. It enables visitors and exhibitors to exchange contact data and information digitally.
Info about Touch & Collect
As soon as you touch an exhibitor’s reader at the stand with your smart badge, you collect information digitally. At the end of your visit you will receive an e-mail from Easyfairs. This contains your trade fair summary: a list of all exhibitors whose reader you touched. All the data that these exhibitors have uploaded in their online profile can now be easily accessed via individual links.
By touching the reader, you simultaneously inform the exhibitor concerned that you are interested in his products and that he may contact you.
A digital exchange of business cards therefore takes place.
Simply enter your contact details during the visitor registration process. Pay particular attention to the correct entry of your e-mail address. This is a basic requirement so that we can send you detailed information on “your” exhibitors at the end of the day of the fair.
- With the help of your smart badge you can easily and digitally collect information from all exhibitors. You get access to product descriptions, pictures, videos or even job offers. There is no need to collect countless brochures and catalogues. You can also share all information digitally with colleagues afterwards.
- If an exhibitor is not at the stand or is busy with another visitor, you will have to pass by again in the past. Thanks to the Smart Badge technology, you can still obtain information from the exhibitor directly – simply by touching the reader.
- At the end of your exhibition day you will receive an e-mail from Easyfairs. This contains a list of all exhibitors for whom you have touched the reader. This will automatically provide you with a complete summary of your exhibition day – including all the detailed information on each exhibitor.
Your personal data, which you provide during registration, will not be passed on by Easyfairs. We only use it to inform you about current and possibly future events of our own.
These data will only be transmitted to exhibitors if you touch the exhibitor’s reader with your visitor badge or if you have registered via an invitation code or link of an exhibitor. In this way, you signal to us and the exhibitor that you are interested in the exhibitor being allowed to receive your data for contacting you. If you do not wish to do so, please do not touch a reader with your badge or use one of the opt-out options afterwards.
